Christians Against Poverty

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is a national charity, working across the UK to lift people out of debt and poverty. CAP offer free debt counselling through a network of 260 debt centres based in local churches.

There is a way out of debt; there is hope. Each year CAP help 20,000 people find their way out of the black hole of debt. They work out fair budgets, negotiate with creditors and can take people through insolvency procedures, so there is always an answer.

Do you wonder where your money goes each month? Come along to a CAP Money Course and learn ways to look after your money. The course is free.

CAP are also looking for people to train as CAP Money Coaches. You don’t have to be a financial wizard just be able to help delegates with their budgets and have a desire to help people manage their money better. There is a one day training course which will be paid for in either Birmingham or London.

We would really like to take CAP Money into Primary & Secondary Schools. If you have a heart for children and would like to help them to make a good start with money then Beryl would love to hear from you.

For further information including other CAP Money courses coming up in the Leamington/Warwick area, please contact Beryl Chisholm 01926 426438, or visit the CAP website and enter your postcode for details of CAP support in your area.
